We enjoyed our stay at Island Inn By Oyo Galveston Beach, Tx. Everything was great, from the on-site parking to the spacious room. The staff were friendly and always had a smile. The location was superb, just a short walk from Sea Wall. We even recommend stopping by Marble Slab Creamery for coffee and treats nearby.

Best base for traveling to Galveston and exploring local places. Relaxing, outstanding unit with the toilet would n't flush correctly and disinfectant wipes, as example. Favourable and great location - just off restaurants and Houston before midnight and an alley in the corner of the building. Also, close to the beaches.

The room was clean and relaxing. The location in Galveston was favourable and great, really close to an alley, the park, and the Island. It was about a 10-minute walk from Babe's Beach.

The clean room here had disinfectant wipes available, but the toilet didn't flush correctly; the hotel is situated in an industrial area nearby.

Mold around tub, hand held shower head hanging off actual shower head, rusty, molding and leaking. Dirty carpet, black outline of dirt where mirror was moved on wall. TV from 1980, sound not working. The hardest bed, with springs poking up. Horrible!

The room was comfortable and cozy. The bed was soft and welcoming. The hotel's convenient location near restaurants, Walmart, shopping, and the seawall was excellent. It was approximately a 10-minute walk from Galveston Beach, which was a huge plus.

How run diwn it was and the people staying there were workers who stand and partied outside my door all night. This motel should not even warrant one star

The shower pressure and hot water were excellent. Next door to a grocery store. Climate control, TV set, and ironing facilities in the room. Good and great location. Large beds and clean bathroom. Good pool with parking onsite. Enjoyed the late check out

The hotel is great and the rooms are clean. It has nice and amiable staff. The location is favorable and decent. Love eating outside and there's a Pizza Hut set 4-6 minutes walking distance from the venue.

Used condom on floor next to night stand, mattresses felt like they were well past their prime. Floor was dirty. It was not vaccumed. The privacy door latch was broken, so if anyone broke in they would be able to get inside the room. The bathroom had used soap the maid neglected to pick up. This hotel is of last resort. When there is absolutely nothing else. Even then. I think a park bench would be better.

The room was in poor disarray. Holes in the bedspread and blood on the shower curtain. It was very out dated for the price we paid for the room.

The motel is terrible the pictures that they show are not what the hotel looks like they show a nice pool and the reality is that is out of service and has no water the room was filthy
